New Year... Recommitted

I attempted to launch this blog about one year ago when I was just beginning my final clinical internship as a physical therapy student. I had hopes to write posts about physical therapy and women’s health in a way to educate and inspire you. I had the vision, but lacked the priority and motivation to make this blog happen. 2019 was a CRAZY year for me and truly will be one for the books. So many amazing life experiences, changes and challenges were packed into 2019. I finished my final clinical internship while simultaneously studying for my licensing exam. I graduated and completed a 7 year long adventure through college and graduate school. I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, became a licensed Physical Therapist, and finally found my dream job working in an outpatient private practice clinic in the Loop. I had three months off between graduating and starting work, which was the best decision I made this year. I traveled to Spain and Portugal for three weeks and had the adventure of a lifetime and made so many unforgettable memories. To say that 2019 went by in the blink of an eye would be an understatement.

I am entering 2020 feeling refreshed and so incredibly excited for a new year. I am committed to making a sustainable morning and daily routine, eating a diet that is better suited to my needs, exercising in a way to benefits my mind and my body, and diving into several courses and certifications. I am also recommitting myself to this blog and creating the space that I dreamed up last year. This year I am going to INVEST // in my health, my physical being, my relationships, my education, and my community. I have many, many exciting things on the books this year and I am so excited to share the good news and undertakings as time goes on. I hope I feel as refreshed and committed at the end of this year as I do right now - that’s the goal right!? To maintain the motivation that the new year brings, accept and power through any challenges, and know that life happens. So… here goes nothing. Bring it on 2020! New Year… Recommitted.
